Joanne Mummert

Vice President

Joanne joined Fairway Management Group in January 2014 as Vice President, bringing to the company more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Fairway she was employed for more than 18 years by Colonial Properties Trust, most recently serving in the position of Senior Vice President of the Commercial Division, where she was responsible for the oversight of day-to day operations, leasing, and marketing of retail and office properties. Joanne was highly involved in the due diligence and disposition of multiple commercial properties before the merger between Colonial Properties Trust and Mid-America Apartments in October 2013. During her years with Colonial Properties, Joanne also worked as Senior Property Manager over 1.8M square feet of Class A/B office properties in the Huntsville market that were part of a tenant-in-common ownership. In 2011, Joanne relocated to Birmingham to assume the responsibilities of Senior Vice President of the Commercial Division.

Joanne began her career in the field of marketing, working for The Mercantile Company and then Bramalea Centers, Inc., before moving into property management in 1995 when she joined Colonial Properties Trust. She holds an Associate Degree from Delta College; the CSM, CMS and CRX designations with the International Council of Shopping Centers; and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Alabama.
