Popular Killingtons Restaurant & Pub Expands South to Fort Mill, SC

Greg and Shannon Roderick, owners of Huntersville, NC-based Killingtons Restaurant & Pub, and Executive Chef Brian Bruce are excited to announce they are expanding south into South Carolina to open a second Killingtons in Baxter Village. The newest Killingtons location will occupy the space in Baxter Village at 940 Market Street, Suite 110 that once was the home of Beef O’Bradys.

“We are thrilled to bring Killingtons to this thriving location in South Carolina and become part of the Fort Mill community,” said Shannon Roderick. “We feel it is the perfect fit for our brand and provides us with abundant opportunity for community involvement, which is very important to our business values.”

Killingtons brings American fusion cuisine to South Carolina. The restaurant serves a gastro-pub inspired menu that includes: cast iron beef tenderloin, whiskey maple pork chop, ‘Gold Rush’ chicken wings, BBQ Salmon with a caramelized shallot risotto and a Bacon Encrusted Meatloaf. It also offers handcrafted cocktails such as the award-winning “Killingtons Bloody Mary” and the “Gummy Bear ”.

The Rodericks and Chef Bruce have more than 40 combined years of experience in the restaurant industry. Greg Roderick is a previous 15-year owner of Charlotte, NC’s popular Tavern on the Tracks and just recently consolidated ownership with his partner. Said Greg: “Our team has always wanted to expand the Killingtons concept and when this location became available, the dream fell perfectly into place.

Chef Bruce is equally excited to share his food talents with the Fort Mill area and has been part of building Killingtons’ brand for the past 10 years. Said Brian: “Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, carnivorous, vegetarian or just want a great plate of wings, Killingtons wants to serve you great food, awesome customer service and make you part of our family.”

Continued Shannon: “The Killingtons motto is ‘Come in as Strangers and Leave as Friends.’ We are looking forward to making a lot of new friends in Fort Mill.”
